The Vijayanagara Engineering College is one of the renowned educational institutions in the state of Karnataka. Established in 1980, the college has been renamed as ‘Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College’. The college currently functions under the aegis of Veersaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Bellary, in Karnataka.
